New Solutions for House Museums Keynote at AASLH Conference

We were delighted to be invited as the keynote speaker for the sold-out luncheon for the Historic House Museum Affinity Group. We spoke about what we found from our research to update and expand the best-selling AASLH book in its series, New Solutions for House Museums. We disused the initial motivations for writing the book in 2004-2006 and offered some of the highlights from our research for seven new and the nine updated case studies dealing with mergers, co-stewardship agreements, sale to a new owner with easements, reprogram for mission-based use, and long and short term leases.
