Our Chapter in Reimagining Historic House Museums, Just Published

AASLH

Published just in time for the AASLH conference in August in Philadelphia, we are delighted to author a chapter in the new book Reimagining Historic House Museums: New Approaches and Proven Solutions, edited by Max Van Balgooy and Kenneth Turino published by Rowman and Littlefield Publishers.  Our chapter called “The Essential Role of Boards in Reimaging House Museums” focuses on the legal duties of all nonprofit board members, and how historic site boards should utilize a committee structure to invite others to help in the work of the organization. The book is now available, order yours from Rowman and Littlefield Publishers.
