Seaford DE Design Guide

Seaford Tomorrow City of Seaford funded by USDA from a grant to Downtown Delaware

We finished our third design guide this year,  for the Delaware Main Street program in December. Seaford, a beautiful small town in southern Delaware, has been working on revitalization efforts for several years. They wanted their storefront matching grant program to have design guidelines for better decision-making. See the Deisgn Guide here. 

We worked with a group of six stakeholders including Seaford Tomorrow representatives, properrty owners, the chamber and city government staff to craft a highly useful document in just over ten weeks.

Earlier this year we worked with Laurel, DE, and Milford, DE on Design Guides for their towns. See the Laurel Design Guide  here, See the Milford Deisgn Guide here. We made presentations on January 7, 2019 in Milford and January 8, 2019 in Laurel to discuss the new design guides.We will be in Seaford in February 12 to make a similar presentation.
