Making Olney’s Corridor Stronger

Staffing transitions pose momentous change to commercial corridor revitalization, and we were happy to be called back to work with a client and old friends at the North 5 Street Revitalization Project in Olney this summer. We last worked with this client in 2015 to assist them with a wide variety of organizational development tasks and create their first ever Strategic Plan.

North 5th Street is a thriving commercial corridor. The neighborhood is the most ethnically and racially diverse zip code in the state. The project (N5SRP) has been around for close to ten years. Their district is a mile and a half long and is home to 340 business, the majority of which are immigrant owned.  We are working with them this summer by providing advice on hiring new staff, assisting with grant funded projects, training new Advisory Board members, and creating work plans for the coming year.
