DE Volunteer Job Descriptions Workshop

In February 2018, we will be co-presenting at the quarterly Downtown Idea Exchange Workshop for Downtown Delaware on creating high quality volunteer job descriptions to better recruit workers to implement downtown projects. The bulk of this workshop will be a hands-on exercise to create three types of job descriptions for volunteers based on current work plan projects. All job descriptions created by workshop participants will be copied and circulated to attendees as a library of job descriptions to use in the future. We will also discuss how to market volunteer job opportunities, the variety of volunteer recruitment resources available in Delaware, and how to integrate new volunteers into downtown work immediately. Attendees will receive a CD with the presentation, sample job descriptions, checklists, templates, articles, and a host of other useful volunteer recruitment related materials.
