Camden County Heritage Tourism Plan
This year-- 2018-- we are continuing our work with the Camden County History Alliance to further develop the Camden County Heritage Tourism Plan that we began with them in 2017. A new grant from the New Jersey Historic Trust’s Historic Site Management Program to the Camden County Historical Society will help create a joint mailing list to be used to market the new and existing heritage programming at all 42 partner organizations in a new quarterly e-newsletter. We will also market a new joint Heritage Tourism program, called Camden County History Week, through the History Alliance’s existing Facebook page.
For this Fall 2018 event, all Alliance sites and organizations will be encouraged to be open and have programming which will be marketed widely through area tourism entities, the quarterly Alliance newsletter, the Alliance Facebook page, County Outreach Office, regional destination management organizations, and traditional and social media outlets.
